Although I am not a scientist, my personal experience has shown me that there is something to be said for power of repetitive positive thinking on one’s mental and emotional health, behaviors, and thought patterns. Studies have shown that through cognitive “rewiring” of neurons: an increase in general mental well- being can occur. Often, but not always, this occurs by using types of therapies (psychological or other methods) or other methods of positive mental reinforcement (non-medicinal). I believe a scientific study could possibly lay more credence to this argument than my own non-professional insight 🙂
